Thakur & Associates was built to close a gap that most growing businesses run into and few advisors are structured to fill.
Too often, a business is forced to choose: a Chartered Accountancy firm that is meticulous with compliance but distant from strategy, or a consultant who understands the business but lacks the technical rigour to stand behind the numbers. Our practice exists to close that gap.
The firm is led by Neeraj Thakur, a Fellow Chartered Accountant with 21+ years of post-qualification experience across corporate finance leadership roles at Crocs, Hey Dude Footwear, RELX, Philips and Honeywell. Over more than two decades he has led business finance as Interim Country Business Head, Director Finance, Business Partner — owning P&Ls, driving strategic planning, leading ERP and systems transformations, and managing governance and compliance across global, multi-country organisations.
That corporate finance leadership experience, combined with core Chartered Accountancy expertise, is what shapes how we work. We do not approach engagements as external auditors ticking boxes; we approach them the way an in-house CFO would, with an eye on what actually drives the business forward.
